You’re invited

Author

Dear friend,

How would you respond if you received an invitation—signed by Jesus—inviting you to join in the Lord’s ministry?

Jesus invited His disciples to minister with Him. He said, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people” (Matthew 4:19). Jesus is alive and still building His church. And we have the wonderful opportunity to be His co-workers!

This letter is your invitation to continue being involved in the work the Lord is doing through Insight for Living Canada, building His church in this country.

I am continually reminded by the messages we receive that this ministry is in a spiritual partnership with God and people like you.

Isn’t it marvellous and exciting to be invited by the Lord to participate in His work together?

I can’t think of a better way to move into a new year than to be reminded of Paul’s words in 1 Corinthians 3:6-7, “I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow. It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow.”

We sow the seed of God’s Word and we can’t do that without you standing with us. It is God who mysteriously and miraculously causes it to grow and bear the fruit of changed lives.

Please RSVP your acceptance of Jesus’ invitation to work with Him through Insight for Living Canada by sending a financial gift today.

Insight for Today

Your personal nourishment is crucial during times of storm. In panic moments, you'll cut a corner on your meals. You'll also fail to get sufficient sleep. It won't be long before you will set aside prayer altogether and you'll find yourself drained, spiritually. Increased emotional pain mixed with decreased spiritual renewal can be lethal to your faith.
