A positive attitude is based on a choice, not on feelings. Too often we make our attitude the victim of our feelings and think we can have a positive attitude only when we feel positive.

I believe one reason we fail to exercise grace in our relationships is because we don’t view people as they actually are. Instead, we look at them through the lens of how they hurt us, or our prejudices, or past experiences.

Having a limitation does not necessarily mean a liability. Paul illustrates five attitudes required for transforming limitations into assets and living and leading victoriously.

Through donating to Insight for Living Canada you can express love to others in the family of God and help them live, look, and love like Jesus.

Christians do not tap into the wisdom of the mind of Christ because they do not know their Bibles. And so they make decisions based on feelings, worldly wisdom, or ideas from people claiming to speak for God.

Too often after our quiet time, we then head out into the rest of our day, having compartmentalized our God-life, leaving our Bible and our relationship with Jesus on our desk or bedside table.

In the end Joshua was chosen to succeed Moses because he exhibited all these godly qualities. Remarkable leaders are remarkable followers first. Let’s think less about becoming a remarkable leader and more about becoming a remarkable follower.

As I look to the future I am confident that just as God has been with us and supplied what we needed up to this point through His people, He will continue to meet our needs by Christ Jesus.

When God selects His leaders He wants people who will not take the glory that belongs to Him alone. This is why He will often put us in seemingly impossible situations, so that when the victory is achieved no one can say that it was anything but God’s doing.
